The older I get, the more I learn to appreciate wine. I used to buy the cheapest wine I could find at the grocery store thinking all wine tastes the same. But a couple of months ago, I saw an ad for Winc, a company that sends you a curated box of wine based on the results of a quiz you take before ordering. I asked myself “why not?” and ordered my first box. Guys, my life has changed ever since!

Ok, that sounds a little dramatic, but for real, it has helped me appreciate wine much more than before. I love that you can customize your wine order (or you can choose the curated selection Winc provides) and that there is no commitment when you choose to become a member. If have enough wine or do not want to place an order that month, you can skip the month for free. The wine selection is excellent (white, rose, orange and red) and they offer various price points. My favorite part is reading the taste profiles… they always talk about picturing yourself in exotic places haha!

The membership costs $49 per month and with that price you get around 4 bottles (sometimes you need to pay a little extra depending on which bottles you choose) and you get free shipping when you order 4 or more bottles. We usually get two white wines for me and two red ones for Drew. I love that you can mix-and-match because we like different kinds of wine. It usually takes about 5 days to get your wine from the moment you place your order and the bottles always come very well packaged.

I think this service is great because it lets you try different types of wines and the descriptions help educate you on what you like and dislike about them.
